Put hope in motion.
We're an all-volunteer charity reinvesting in our community — especially women and children who have suffered domestic and sexual abuse. Our members fund the Fools' operating expenses, and no one receives a salary.
A hard year deserves a good Christmas.
Each year, local police identify children in families facing hardship or recovering from abuse. Two weeks before Christmas, those children walk into the station, pick out the bike they love best, and go home with a helmet, a lock, and a Merry Christmas.
We give away more than 750 bikes a year — and fund 15+ local charities serving women and children across St. Petersburg and Pinellas County.
The Fools take no salaries. Our members fund every operating cost, so 100% of your gift goes to the cause.
$100 = one bike, one kid
Moments that say it all.
Real smiles, real bikes, real neighbors showing up for kids who've had a hard year.

Choose your impact.
Whether you're a small business rounding up a gift or a company ready to lead, there's a place for you in the drive.
The Bike Drive
A simple, one-time gift. Sponsor as many bikes as you like — every $100 puts one more child on a bike of their choice.
Prefer to give in kind? We welcome donated bikes, helmets, locks and services.
The Founders' Circle
An annual pledge that sustains our whole mission — not just one event. Choose a level and term that fit your organization's goals and budget.

Sponsor your bikes
Every $100 puts one more local child on a bike of their own — helmet and lock included.
Lead the drive. Become a Founder.
Tell us where you'd like to start and we'll follow up personally. A pledge is a good-faith commitment — adjustable if circumstances change — and tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Begin with a conversation.
Contacting us does not create a commitment. A Fools representative will answer your questions and help identify a level and payment schedule that fit your organization.
Our year of giving back.
Six events help fund the mission and bring the community together.
Founders' Circle members are recognized here, at our events, and at the December giveaway.
Questions, answered.
How much of my gift actually reaches kids?
All of it. The Fools are 100% volunteer and our members personally cover every operating cost — so no part of your gift goes to salaries or overhead.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. St. Pete Fools Charities is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We'll send a receipt, and no goods or services are provided in exchange for your gift.
How does a Founders' Circle pledge work?
You choose a level and a term (we suggest three years), paid annually, quarterly, or monthly. It is a good-faith commitment and can be adjusted if circumstances change.
Can my company match my gift?
Many employers match charitable gifts — often doubling your impact. Let us know your employer and we'll help you submit the match.
Where do the bikes go?
To children identified by local police as facing hardship or recovering from abuse — handed out each December at police stations and along the Pinellas Park parade route.
Let's keep kids rolling.
Every $100 puts one more child on a bike they chose themselves. Join the drive today.
